SUMMER READING CHALLENGE

Record Breakers Summer Reading Challenge Logo

 

Drop into your local library over the summer and take up our Summer Reading Challenge.  All you have to do is read 6 books over the summer months.  Register at your local library from 1st July.  It’s for children up to 12 years and ABSOLUTELY FREE!  You can also be a Record Breaker this summer and help us set a Guinness World Record by signing a reading campaign pledge in a participating library.

New Membership Charges for Students

NEW MEMBERSHIP CHARGES HAVE NOW BEEN INTRODUCED IN LAOIS LIBRARIES FOR THIRD LEVEL AND PLC STUDENTS FROM 7TH FEBRUARY 2014 NEW FEE IS NOW €3.00



Niamh Boyce, has been announced as the Overall Winner of the New Irish Writer Awards in the Hennessy Literary Awards. She was also chosen as category winner in the “Emerging Poetry” section for her poem “Kitty”.
