Art from Waste Competition 2011
Art from Waste Competition 2011
The Art from Waste Competition is run jointly by Laois County Council and the Laois Federation of the ICA. Primary School students were invited to design a project made from recyclable materials. This year’s theme was "My Favourite Time of Year".
The idea of the competition is to encourage children to use materials normally considered "waste" thus fostering the concept of recycling and protecting our environment.
Entries in this year’s competition were of a very high standard and we commend the hard work which students and teachers put into each entry.
