Mobile Caretaker for Aged and Disabled Tenants:
Mr. Blanc visits all our aged and disabled tenants in the County on a rotational basis, assess's their needs, if any and ensures their needs are met . Also the majority of our aged and/or disabled tenants live alone therefore it is important that Mr. Blanc calls on a regular basis as it means a lot to them to see a friendly face and to know someone cares enough to call. If you have any queries please ring 057 86 64000
Control of Horses
Under the Control of Horses Act, 1996, A local authority is empowered to declare, by means of bye laws, control areas where horses may not be kept with out a license. Laois County Council has made byelaws declaring part of its functional area to be a control area. A person cannot keep a horse in this "controlled area" without a license.
