Scheme of Assistance to Arts Organisation and Individuals

Arts Act Grants 2012

Provision is made for the payment of grants to arts organisations and individuals who meet the artistic and financial criteria set down by Laois County Council and who provide adequate information on their proposed activities. The maximum amount payable does not exceed €1000 and total payments are limited to the overall yearly budgetary provision. 

Art Act Grants have now been awarded to groups and individuals for 2012 with a total allocation of €6,600 being paid as follows:

11 individuals were awarded a total of €2,250

23 groups were awarded a total of €4.350.
