Laois County Community Forum aims to ensure the voice of the Community is heard at county level. The Forum works with Agencies and Statutory bodies to give members of the community and voluntary sector a voice in the decisions that affect their lives. Membership is open to everyone involved in local community and voluntary group activity including:

- Resident's Groups- Sports Clubs - Parents' Groups
- Local Development Groups - Music Groups
- Environmental Groups - Youth Groups
- Women's Groups - Heritage Groups
- LEADER Groups - Men's Groups
