Corporate Plan 2009 - 2014 Published

Laois County Council's Corporate Plan 2009 - 2014 was adopted by the Members in December, 2009. The Corporate Plan provides the framework for the implementation of a coherent strategy for the development of our county for the next five years and was prepared following consultation with employees, elected representatives, community, voluntary & environmental interests, external stakeholders and other public bodies operating at local level.

The strategies and objectives outlined in the Plan will enable Laois County Council’s Elected Members and Staff to continue to provide leadership in the promotion and development of the social, economic and cultural life of the county.  It will enhance the role of the Elected Members while continuing to deliver focused, more co-ordinated, efficient, and effective services to the public.
