Non Principal Private Residence (NPPR) Charge

The Local Government (Charges) Act 2009 introduced a €200 annual charge on non principal private residences, payable by the owners, to the NPPR on behalf of the local authority in whose area the property concerned is located. Properties can be registered and paid for through the NPPR web site www.nppr.ie. You can also register and pay by submitting the NPPR registration form and payment to the cash office at Laois County Council, County Hall, JFL Avenue, Portlaoise.
