Winners of the Built Heritage Photography Competition
The Built Heritage Photography Competition attracted a great response, with over 150 high quality entrants. Entries have now been judged, and an awards evening was held in County Hall, Portlaoise, on Tuesday the 26th of August.
The winners in each category were:
Category: Junior (Under 16)
- 1st - Olwyn Joyce, Arches, Roundwood House
- Joint 2nd - Ailbhe Joyce, The Forgotten Shelf, Roundwood House
- Joint 2nd - Tom Moore, Knockanina Corn Mill, Castletown
Category: Youth (Age 16 - 21)
- 1st - Shauna Farrell, Drainpipe, Ballyfin Estate
- 2nd - Cian Joyce, Silent Past, Belfry, Roundwood House
Category: Adult (Over 21)
- 1st - Kieran Moran, Bridge to Converted Barns, Roundwood House
- Joint 2nd - Tom Joyce, Stable Door
- Joint 2nd - Mark Marnell, Locked in Time, farm workshop door, Ballyfin
Congratulations to all the winners and to those who were Highly Commended by the judges - all were featured in the exhibition in County Hall during Heritage Week.
