Public Health Nuisances

Incidents of Public Health Nuisances arising from either defective drainage systems or accumulations of offensive material are investigated by the Environmental Health Officers on the Council's behalf.  Statutory Notices setting out the necessary remedial action are served where required.  If the nuisance is not abated, the matter is referred to the courts.
