Housing GIS

Housing technical staff would be extensive users of Autocad Systems which are under the control of the GIS Department.  Technical staff in housing are fully trained in both GIS and Autocad Programs.

HOUSING LAND AVAILABILITY SYSTEM (HLA) is designed to determine the total amount of serviced land available in a county.  These results are submitted to a central server through the use of Web Services.  The HLA website then gives the Department of Environment, Heritage and Local Government(DoEHLG)access to these results. The system is a desktop VB.NET application which incorporates the use of Web Services
