If a Fire Happens

Unfortunately fires do happen and in 2004 Fire Brigades in Ireland attended 8,816 domestic fires. It is therefore extremely important that all householder plan and practice escape drills.

In the event of a fire, once out of the houlse, telephone the fire brigade on 999 or 112. Never go back into a burning building to look for someone or to retrieve belongings,

The escape drill should be practised until perfect.
