Laois County Council & An Garda Siochana

Laois County Council & An Garda Siochána Joint Committee was set up in early 2006.  We meet with the Gardai on a regular basis to review recent accidents and to discuss locations where accidents have been recorded.  The purpose of these meetings is to improve road safety on the public roads, to identify potentially dangerous locations and to adopt appropriate measures to make these locations safer.
