Curraghmore/Clonagooden, Borris-in-Ossory

Laois County  Council having given the required notice has now decided to close  Road No. L1512 starting with its junction with Road N7 and ending with its junction with road No. L15125 in the townsland of Curraghmore/Clonagooden, Borris-in-Ossory, County Laois.

The closure is necessary for construction of Side Road S41 as part of M7/M8 project, for a period of four months from 5th January, 2010 to the 30th April, 2010.

The following alternative routes are available:
 
L1510, L15125, L1520, N7.

Curraghmore/Clonagooden Road Closure

Local access will be maintained.
 
Appropriate signage will be in place to divert traffic along the alternative route.

Extinguishment of Public Right of Way at Hopes Bridge, Kilmullen, Co Laois

In accordance with the provisions of Section 73 of the Roads Act 1993, Laois County Council, having given the required notice of its intention, has now formally extinguished the public right of way at the following location:-

• Regional Road R420-0 at Kilmullen Between the Points 95m North. and 90m South of the Centre Line of existing bridge.
