Casual Trading in Laois

Casual Trading in Portlaoise commenced on 9th March 2007 in Market Square at 9.00am until 3.00pm and every Friday thereafter.  Please note that Parking is not permitted between the hours of 8.30am and 3.30pm on Fridays.  Penalties will be incurred for vehicles parked in this area during the time stated above. A map of  Market Square outlines the area involved. 

The official opening of the Casual Trading Area took place on Friday 23rd March 2007 in Market Square, Portlaoise.  The Town Councillors, the Mayor and Cathaoirleach were present on the day.  We wish all the traders the best of luck with it.
