Ballylinan Village Plan

The  Ballylinan Village Plan was endorsed on 07th June 2007

Under the County Development Plan 2006-2012, 31 Towns and Villages were zoned for development around the county of Laois.

 The various Towns and Villages and their zoning land use maps are set out in the County Development Plan 2006-2012 Part 2: Settlement Strategy.

 It is an objective of the County Development Plan to prepare Town/ Village Plans for these zoned settlements.

 The Ballylinan Village Plan has been adopted by their associated Area Council following a Public Consultation, Display and Submissions Period.

 It is intended that the adopted Town/ Village Plans shall be included in the County Development Plan and become statutory documents by way of Variation of the Plan in 2008.
