Ballybrittas Village Plan

The  Ballybrittas Village Plan.  was endorsed by Area Members on 01st June 2007

Under the County Development Plan 2006-2012, 31 Towns and Villages were zoned for development around the county of Laois . The various Towns and Villages and their zoning land use maps are set out in the County Development Plan 2006-2012 Part 2: Settlement Strategy.

The Ballybrittas Village Plan has been adopted by their associated Area Council following a Public Consultation, Display and Submissions Period.

It is intended that the adopted Town/ Village Plans shall be included in the County Development Plan and become statutory documents by way of Variation of the Plan in 2008.
