Following major refurbishment Portlaoise Leisure Centre opened to the public on 17th December, 2007.  Facilities include:

• 25m deck level pool,
• deck level learner pool,
• café,
• changing village
• group changing rooms,
• fully equipped gymnasium including cardiovascular and resistance equipment,
• multi-purpose classes studio / meeting room.

Adjacent to the leisure centre are the following:

• outdoor running track,
• full size soccer pitch,
• 7-a-side soccer pitches,
• outdoor children’s playground,
• picnic tables and seating.

Now taking booking for children and adult swimming lessons (beginner to advanced). 

Exercise classes programme has commenced.  Choose from the following:

Flexi-bar, Latino step, Step Arobics, Aerobics, Body Pump, Rebound, Circuits, Fitball Abs blast, Reebok spin, Aqua Aerobics (advanced booking required for all classes).

Meeting rooms for hire with integrated projectors and screens.  Reasonable hourly/half day/full day rates.

Children's Birthday Parties - bookings now been taken.

Pool inflatable sessions - Every Saturday and Sunday

Full size floodlight Astro pitch or 3 x 7 a-side now open for hire.  Excellent off peak rates.

Seasonal Kids Camps / Halloween Camp soon to be announced.
