Parks Tennis
Each year the Sports & Leisure Section of Laois County Council provides children with the opportunity to play tennis in four locations around Laois during the month of July. Qualified instructors are on hand to teach children new skills or improve their skills over a five day period. The cost of the camp is €25 with a €5 discount for additional family members. The camps run from 10.00am to 2.00pm each day.
The locations for Parks Tennis 2010 are as follows:
- Mountrath
- Abbeyleix
- Portlaoise
- Portarlington

The locations for Parks Tennis 2009 were Portarlington, Mountrath, Abbeyleix and Portlaoise. During the course of the week participants learned or improved their tennis skills and had fun along along the way. Next years camp will promise to be just as fun filled and exciting so make sure to book your place for next year, spaces will be limited!!
