Mind and Body Book Therapy

Laois County Libraries has launched its Bibliotherapy – Mind and Body Book Therapy.

This is an initiative between the HSE, The Irish College of General Practitioners and Local Authority Library Services introducing the mind and body book therapy scheme to support people with emotional and psychological difficulties to gain insight into and treat the problems that are upsetting or disturbing them. These highly recommended books cover a range of everyday issues experienced by people e.g. stress, depression, bereavement, self-esteem, addictions etc. and are available in selected libraries in County Laois.
