DETAILS  Celebration of Irish dance with a Céilí and old-time dancing, led by Maureen Culleton, with music by Danny Webster. All welcome, plenty of help available for beginners. Light refreshments will be served.

Forest Walk: Hidden Quarries & Woodland Gems

DETAILS  Two-hour walk on forest roads and tracks. Suitable for children, but not for buggies or wheelchairs. Strong footwear required.

DETAILS  Canal Barge 107Bhas been re-furbished to function as an exhibition space for canal memorabilia and other material. The boat should be on the north Barrow system in August.

Geology Weekend

DETAILS  Geologist John Feehan will lead a 3 day programme focusing On The Upper Carboniferous, with field trips in Laois and Offaly on Sat and Sun. Places are limited and booking is essential.
