Mountmellick Canal
Showcasing the built, natural and cultural heritage of the former Mountmellick Canal. This branch of the Grand Canal from Monasterevin, ran through Portarlington and on to Mountmellick until its closure in the 1960s.

This book was inspired by and summarises the technical information contained in the detailed survey of the Mountmellick Canal carried out by Fred Hamond and John Feehan in 2006 and also available online.
