Emma Barone is a Visual Artist based in Birr, Co. Offaly. She has been drawing and painting since she was old enough to hold pencils and brushes.  Her exhibition entitled ‘Wind Swept Trees’ is a project which aims to deliver a series of site specific tree paintings. Emma has long been fascinated by the shape trees adopt on the West Coast of Ireland. Officially opened in May 2011 the Arthouse Stradbally complex includes, artists’ studios, including a digital studio and craft studio, living accommodation, an exhibition gallery, a fully equipped music rehearsal room, a kiln, and a garden space with a commissioned Percent for Art wall mounted artwork
