Concerts, Residencies and support of Musicians

The Arts Office host regular music concerts both traditional and classical in various venues throughout the county.  Supports for musicians and groups include grants and performance opportunities. 

• Laois School of Music
• From time to time free Lunchtime concerts are organised by the arts office in the Dunamaise Arts Centre.
• In Association with Music Network and as part of the Durrow Arts Festival the Arts Office will host a concert by The Degani Ensemble with Cara O'Sullivan on Thursday 10th September @ 8pm in the Church of the Most Holy Trinity, Kilkenny Rd, Durrow.  Tickets available from www.durrowvillage.com or the Dunamaise Arts Centre box office 057 8663355.
• Each year classical concerts are hosted in the beautiful surroundings of Emo Court, Portlaoise.  In association with Music Network our next concert in Emo Court will feature Xuefei Yang and Natalie Clein on Tuesday 27th April 2010 at 8pm.
