Midland Region Waste Management Plan

Nearly half a million tonnes of household, commercial/ industrial, construction and demolition waste is generated in the Midlands Region every year.

The five local authorities, Laois, Longford, North Tipperary, Offaly and Westmeath, have worked together to prepare a new Waste Management Plan for the Midlands Region for the period 2005 - 2010.
