Free Entry to Recycling Centres during Repak’s Recycling Week 04 – 10 October
Laois County Council is calling on all householders to avail of free entry to both Portlaoise and Portarlington Recycling Centres during Repak’s national recycling week 04-10 October.
Last year, the people of Laois recycled the equivalent over 9,898 tonnes of used packaging and according to Laois County Council’s Senior Engineer in Environment, John O’Donoghue, “this year we hope to further boost our recycling rates and are delighted to offer free entry for domestic customers into our 2 state of the art recycling centres.”
As constant advocates of ‘sliming your bin and trimming your costs’ Laois County Council encourage everyone to reduce their waste line. Also a special on line recycling competition has been organised on the Council’s website for both businesses and householders – visit www.laois.ie for further details.
