Tidy Primary Schools

The Tidy Schools is an annual competition which was introduced in 2006.  This competition recognises the litter management work undertaken by schools across County Laois.  All schools are invited to participate in this competition.  Judges from the Environment Section visit participating schools and award marks to them based on the presence/absence of litter.  Schools are also required to submit a Litter Management plan to the Environment Section.
