Environment Awards 2011
County Hall was the venue of this year's annual Environment Awards which were held on 24 August. These Awards, which are a highlight for all involved, recognise the valued input of the various community groups in the Laois Federation of Tidy Towns, the Inter Community Litter Challenge and the Community Action Project – three environmental enhancement campaigns facilitated by Laois County Council during the year, as well as congratulating the winners in the Local Authority Housing competition.
