Neighbourhood Watch
Neighbourhood Watch is a crime prevention programme which relies on the suuport of the community in a locality to observe and report suspicious activities. In Neighbourhood Watch a community accepts a certain responsibility for crime in its own area. A partnership is established between Gardaí and the community, which is designed to prevent crime and to help create a better environment in which to live.
