Skills Database - Work in Laois

Laois County Council is currently revamping its skills database for commuters who leave the County to work in other Counties. It also focuses on school leavers and third level students. The purpose of this initiative is to document the skills profile of the labour pool that is available to an enterprise choosing to set up in County Laois.

Commuters interested in registering their details can access the questionnaire simply by logging onto our website at http://www.workinlaois.ie. Work is ongoing on this project at present. Further publicity campaigns for this project will commence in the near future.

IDA Ireland and Enterprise Ireland are presently assisting Laois County Council is revamping the website. The website will be officially launched in December 2008.
